Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road New stores opening at Aventura Mall, Lincoln Road, Bal Harbour & more

THE REAL DEAL — JULY 19,  2019 — BY INA CORDLE Despite retail turmoil across the United States, several new stores have opened or are planned in South Florida.

Lincoln Road – Beachwear retailer MC2 Saint Barth, which has more than 34 stores worldwide, is opening a 748-square foot store at 608 Lincoln Road.

Terranova Corp. President Mindy McIlroy scored the four-year lease with the retailer. The store is expected to open later this year, according to Terranova. MC2 Saint Barth will be located next to Sushi Samba.

Lincoln Road Blanketed with 500 Native Orchids

MIAMI TODAY — JULY 9,  2019 — BY ERO PARTSAKOULAKI Walking on Miami Beach this summer can be even more mesmerizing than usual. Since Tuesday morning a block of Lincoln Road has been blanketed with 500 native orchids, planted among the palms and hardwood trees.

Over eight species of the vibrant plant were donated to the City of Miami Beach by Terranova, one of South Florida’s leading real estate firms, contributing to the city’s goal to plant a total of 20,000 native orchids throughout the urban island.

“The fact that we make something beautiful and exciting that our residents and visitors will like, while at the same time doing good to the environment, is just an incredible opportunity for all of us,” said Stephen Bittel, Terranova’s chariman.

South Florida PepsiCo bottling plant could be redeveloped

SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESS JOURNAL — February 14,  2019 — BY BRIAN BANDELL The PepsiCo bottling plant in Doral could be rezoned for a large commercial and industrial project called District 79.

A joint venture between Miami-based Terra and Miami Beach-based Terranova Corp., through 7777 Investments, filed an application with city officials Jan. 14 to rezone the 23.7-acre site as a planned unit development. They acquired the property at 7777 NW 41st from PepsiCo for $40.3 million in 2017.
