South Florida PepsiCo bottling plant could be redeveloped

SOUTH FLORIDA BUSINESS JOURNAL — February 14,  2019 — BY BRIAN BANDELL The PepsiCo bottling plant in Doral could be rezoned for a large commercial and industrial project called District 79.

A joint venture between Miami-based Terra and Miami Beach-based Terranova Corp., through 7777 Investments, filed an application with city officials Jan. 14 to rezone the 23.7-acre site as a planned unit development. They acquired the property at 7777 NW 41st from PepsiCo for $40.3 million in 2017.

Terra and Terranova plan retail and industrial project in Doral

THE REAL DEAL — February 8,  2019 — BY KATHERINE KALLERGIS Terra and Terranova Corp. are planning to build a mixed-use commercial project on a nearly 24-acre site in Doral.

The two developers are aiming to present their proposal for District 79, an industrial and retail development at 7777 Northwest 41st Street, to the commission by the summer, a spokesperson for Terra said. David Martin, co-founder and president of Terra, said the joint venture is planning for the future and betting on the area’s strong industrial market.
