MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA –May 8th, 2014 –Terranova Corporation is pleased to announce it has signed Youfit Health Clubs at Gateway Town Center, a landmark Publix-anchored shopping center at 5000-7 Norwood Ave. in Jacksonville, Fla.
Youfit has signed a 10-year lease for 17,678 square feet. The new facility is projected to open by August 2014, bringing Youfit’s first location in Jacksonville.
“This deal is a fabulous component of our fresh vision for Gateway Town Center,” said Terranova Executive Vice President Mindy McIlroy, who represented the landlord in the deal. “The space and location we could offer Youfit is ideal for their entry to the Jacksonville market, and the Youfit concept fits perfectly with Gateway’s re-energizing.”
Youfit, a national chain with 48 Florida locations, has gained popularity with its bright-colored facilities that offer no-contract memberships at $10 a month, a welcoming environment with easy-to-use machines, and a pre-designed 30-minute circuit training for members who want that structure.
More new tenants are in negotiations in Gateway, as Terranova continues a makeover that already includes new paint, newly striped and sealed parking and roofing upgrades. Further renovations will add modern lighting, landscape and pylons. Youfit will join the center’s existing national tenants, including Family Dollar, Hibbett Sports, Walgreens, Footlocker and Rainbow, along with recently added DTLR, a leading chain of brand name urban apparel stores, and Boost Mobile, a leading wireless service provider.

/in Trending topicsApril 24, 2014 – On a sunny thursday afternoon, over 25,000 participants from 850 companies left their cubicles behind to join thousands of south florida runners to partake in the largest 5k in florida, the 2014 mercedes-benz corporate run. Terranova was amongst the many proud participating companies in the annual event held in downtown miami on april 24th.
Terranova’s 2014 coed team consisted of michael dorer, scott fitzgerald, aileen garcia and meghan moyle. Their combined time of 1:57:07 achieved fourth place in the real estate company category, coed division and an overall fourth place ranking amongst tri-county corporate run series. We are so pleased to have participated in such a well-organized, fun, interactive event supporting a great cause.
For over 25 years teamfootvvorks has produced the mercedes-benz corporate run with a primary goal “to promote lifelong fitness at all levels and encourage camaraderie in the workplace through healthy, happy employees.” the race is open to employees of businesses, corporations, financial institutions, government agencies, and non-profits regardless of company size.
