Terranova’s Bittel Announces Sushi Sake Coming to Downtown Coral Gables

MIAMI BEACH, FL – OCTOBER 16, 2020 – Terranova’s Chairman, Stephen Bittel is excited to announce the newest addition to Downtown Coral Gables, Sushi Sake. Opening its 15th location on Miracle Mile, Sushi Sake brings their high energy gourmet neighborhood Sushi bar to the City Beautiful.

Terranova signed a 10-year lease with Sushi Sake for 2,600 SF at 202 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables’ premiere retail, entertainment and restaurant high street. Created by brothers James and Argelio Jr Aguayo 11 years ago, Sushi Sake is expected to open in 2021.

“More dining options are fitting for an area that offers not only an affluent residential community but one of the densest downtown office districts in all of Miami,” says Stephen Bittel, Chairman and Founder of Terranova Corporation.  “It’s no surprise that retailers and restaurateurs are taking a close look at Coral Gables, wider sidewalks with outdoor seating in beautiful South Florida is a hot commodity.”

Sushi Sake showcases its passion for flavor through menu items like their signature Bobby Salad, a combination of spicy tuna, avocado, and crab salad with hints of sesame seed and masago. Staying true to their South Florida roots, local favorites include the pineapple fried rice and Miami Heat Roll – shrimp tempura, cream cheese, crab salad topped with baked salmon, spice mayo, and eel sauce. Sushi Sake’s expansive menu includes sushi and sashimi, teriyaki, hibachi, topped off with a variety of signature sauces and a selection of Sake. Sushi Sake will be located just off the corner of Ponce de Leon Boulevard and Miracle Mile and will feature daily specials for lunch and dinner.

Terranova’s Bittel Welcomes Multiple Tenants Popping Up On Lincoln Road

MIAMI BEACH, FL – OCTOBER 15, 2020 – TWith the holidays quickly approaching, Terranova’s Chairman, Stephen Bittel is thrilled to announce a plethora of new brands popping up on Lincoln Road for your holiday shopping needs.

Three new retailers, locally grown in Miami Beach, join the vibrant mix of dining destinations and retail outlets on Lincoln Road. This eclectic group of new retailers, carefully selected for their local flavor, include:

Plant Daddy, your neighborhood retail garden center, opened a 348 square foot space at 808 North Lincoln Lane. Owner Gabriel Diaz, nicknamed the Plant Daddy, launched the concept in June in honor of his late mother.

Jozy DeFord opened her 348 square foot vintage shop, Renegade Rustlers at 804 North Lincoln Lane. An established merchant in the Lincoln Road Antique Market, DeFord’s first brick-and-mortar location opened October 23rd.

Sol + Sorbet is the newest addition and set to open November 2020 at 816 North Lincoln Lane. Created by Miami Beach resident Gina Kravitz in 2018, Sol + Sorbet is a resort wear and swimwear brand.

Joining existing micro suite tenants, Havana 1957 Cuban Coffee and Fast Connect, these three retailers bring all of our micro suites at 100 percent occupancy.

Terranova Announces Seasy Mediterranean Coming to Downtown Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES, FL – JULY 31, 2020 – Terranova Corporation, is thrilled to announce the newest addition to Downtown Coral Gables, Seasy Mediterranean. This is the first restaurant endeavor for the Made in Napoli Hospitality group, originating in Naples, Italy. 

Terranova signed a 3-year lease with Seasy Mediterranean for 2,592 SF at 136 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables’ premiere retail, entertainment and restaurant high street. Created by Giovanni Maglione, Seasy Mediterranean is expected to open November 2020.

“Miracle Mile has long been a top performing restaurant destination owing to the enormous daytime population from office users and an equally powerful evening and weekend population from the affluent neighborhood,” says Stephen Bittel, Chairman and Founder of Terranova Corporation. “The recently completed streetscape project provides great outdoor seating options, making this a real winner.”

Maglione moved to Miami three and half years ago and has fulfilled his dream, thanks to Made in Napoli Hospitality and a group of investors, eager to open a restaurant where customers feel at home, trying to recreate the atmosphere of a Mediterranean seaport. Offering ‘easy’ cuisine from the Mediterranean ‘sea’, Seasy Mediterranean will serve healthy seaside options in addition to traditional Italian seafood at popular prices.

“When speaking to my family about Coral Gables, I compare it to Vomero and Posillip, two prominent hillside areas of Naples known for their seaside landscapes,” says Maglione. “Like Coral Gables, both are known for their affluent residential crowd who enjoy life and a great meal.”

In addition to their daily menu, Seasy Mediterranean will offer three different fixed price executive lunch options ($16, $18, and $22) each featuring a single balanced meal with dessert all following a healthy and balanced meal breakdown of 50% vegetables and 25% protein and carbs each. Daily happy hour specials from 5pm – 7pm will offer Mediterranean tapas and Peninsola a zero added sugar Italian Presecco and Rosé imported from Italy.

“We are really excited to be able to provide our patrons tasty but healthy options in both our food and beverage offerings,” says Maglione. 

To build out the Seasy Mediterranean restaurant, Maglione has incorporated the Mediterranean’s signature blue, white, and grey colors into the design. The decor evokes the look and feeling of a cozy seaside restaurant, transporting patrons to the sandy white beaches of the Mediterranean coast. 

Seasy Mediterranean will be located next to McBride Park in Coral Gables and will serve brunch, lunch and dinner.
