Miami is among one of the busiest travel destinations in the world and with this in mind, Terranova has signed a 3 year lease with TUMI, for 1,176 square feet at 832 Lincoln Road projected to open early Fall 2015.

TUMI, the leading global travel lifestyle brand, which provides its customers with beautiful and world-class business and travel products designed to uncomplicate and upgrade all aspects of life on the move, was founded by Charlie Clifford in 1975. Clifford’s driving passion to make travel easier was the driving force and catalyst that motivated him to create TUMI. Originally, TUMI was launched as an importer of leather goods but Clifford had bigger ideas and his eyes focused upon revolutionizing the travel world. Since 1975, TUMI proudly holds over 325 design and utility patents relating to its products and as component features, and continues to expand and evolve its collections.

No one wants to be the person whose suitcase spills open, dumping all their personal belongings in front of hundreds of strangers at the airport as they rush to catch their flight. For this purpose nothing is more important to travelers than a well-made TUMI traveling bag.

“With over 40.5 million passengers traveling through Miami International Airport annually, there will always be a need for well-crafted travel pieces and we expect TUMI’s new location on Lincoln Road, a unique travel destination for tourists and residents alike, to resonate with those searching for quality luggage,” says Mindy McIlroy executive vice president for Terranova who represented the landlord in the deal.

In addition to travel pieces, the store will also carry an assortment of its many collections, such as leather goods, tech protection cases, handbags, travel accessories, and replacement parts for any damaged products.

Tumi will open its doors in the Fall on the 800 block of Lincoln Road nestled in between Fossil and Aesop.
